About the Opportunity
A leading healthcare solutions company is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to drive growth across an established Southern California territory.
This is a consultative, capital equipment sales role focused on partnering with hospitals, health systems, architects, equipment planners, contractors, and distribution partners to deliver customized clinical workspace and storage solutions that improve operational efficiency and patient care.
Position Overview
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding relationships within existing health systems, and managing capital projects from design through implementation.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record selling capital equipment into hospital settings, understands long sales cycles, and enjoys managing projects from specification through installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan
- Drive capital equipment sales within hospitals and health systems
- Build relationships with hospital leadership, facilities, supply chain, architects, and equipment planners
- Manage projects from specification through installation
- Conduct product presentations and customer education
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate CRM forecasting
- Collaborate with internal teams, distributors, and strategic partners to maximize territory growth
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of successful capital equipment sales experience into hospitals or health systems
- Proven experience managing long, complex healthcare sales cycles
- Experience working with healthcare construction, renovation, architects, equipment planners, or contractors
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Must currently reside in Los Angeles County
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the territory
Preferred
- Existing relationships with Southern California hospital systems
- Experience selling healthcare storage, clinical workspace solutions, healthcare furniture, or other capital medical equipment
- Knowledge of hospital capital budgeting, procurement, and equipment planning processes
- Experience working with GPOs, IDNs, or healthcare distribution partners
- CRM experience (HubSpot or similar platforms)
Compensation
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $180,000
